Together the beautiful coast and mild temperatures, whether for sport or leisure, turn the Region of Villajoyosa into a paradise for water lovers.

Together with yacht clubs, yachting harbours and sailing schools, most beaches offer you a wide range of summer activities such as windsurfing, catamaran sailing or the hiring of pedal-boats and water-motorcycles to ply the seas.

Set on the western side of the port, this yacht club has a social building, café and restaurant, in addition to all kinds of port services.

It has a light sailboat school open during the summer months and at Easter, and in the off-season it usually caters to school groups.

For peace and quiet just a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of the resort town of Benidorm, as well as for lots of charm and local colour in the maritime quarter, you won't want to miss the attractions of this port.

Located between the fishing quay and the yacht club docks, this port offers 300 new moorings priced for public use, constructed under the auspices of the Valencia regional administration.

The Ali Sub Multiaventura centre offers SSI courses at different levels from beginners to instructors, as well as introductory dives.

They organise dives at over 15 local high-interest spots, especially at the Llosa and Island of Benidorm, perfect places for underwater photography because of the enormously varied species of marine fauna that inhabit their luxuriant posidonia meadows.

They also dive at Mitjana Island, known as the Island of the Octopuses, and in the Elephants Cave, a suitable site for newcomers to cave diving because of its easy access. For experienced divers La Llosa de Fuera provides an excellent challenge and is in close proximity to Villajoyosa.
